What this is
KenoshaAMC.com is a free registry for classic cars. Post your car with photos and its story, browse everyone else’s, and give the car a page of its own. It is a showcase, not a store. Nothing here costs anything, and there is no account to create.
What belongs here
Any classic, any make. Chevy, Ford, Mopar, Studebaker, Packard and everything in between. Original, restored, modified or still a project.
The registry began with the American Motors family, because cars came off the Kenosha plant site for eighty-six years: Nash, Hudson, Rambler, Metropolitan, Nash-Healey, AMC, Eagle, Jeep through the AMC era, Willys-Overland, Kaiser, the American-built Renaults (Alliance, Encore, GTA) and Pirsch fire apparatus, Kenosha’s own. Those cars use the AMC form, which runs through the 1988 model year, when AMC ended.
How to post your car
It takes about five minutes. You do not need an account; you fill in a form and you’re done.
- Pick your form. AMC-family cars use the AMC form; every other make uses the all-makes form.
- Fill it in. Year, make, model and your name are all that is required; the rest is optional.
- Add photos. This is the part people come for. Put your best full-car shot first; it becomes the main photo. Add as many others as you like.
- Tell the story. How you found it, what you have done to it, what it means to you. Short is fine.
- Submit. Every car is reviewed by hand before it appears; this is a one-person operation, so give it a little time.
Your privacy
Your email is required so we can reach you about your listing, but it stays hidden unless you choose “Show my email publicly.” VIN and street address are never collected. Location is whatever you are comfortable sharing: city, region or state.
Questions
Does it have to run?
No. Barn finds, projects, parts cars and half-finished restorations are all welcome. A car on jack stands with the engine out is still a car.
Does it have to be restored?
No. Drivers and daily beaters are the point as much as trailer queens.
Is my 1995 Jeep eligible?
Not on the AMC form; that cutoff is the 1988 model year, when AMC ended. If you consider it a classic, post it on the all-makes form and it will be reviewed like everything else.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no password. You fill in the form once per car.
Can I post more than one car?
Yes. Submit the form once per car. Most of us have more than one.
My make or model is not in the list.
The AMC form has a fixed list of makes. If yours is not there, use the all-makes form, where you type the make, model and body style yourself.
